Vixenz is gearing up for another women’s season — want to join in the fun?? 🦊

We’ll be playing women’s league, tournaments, and travelling to Nationals in Wellington next March. We are the longest-running women’s club in Auckland and we’re always looking for players of all ages and experience levels to join us!

By playing with Vixenz, you can:

  • learn new skills and build confidence on the field
  • improve your fitness and knowledge of the game
  • compete in local, regional and national tournaments
  • be surrounded by teammates who share a passion for ultimate!

As a competitive squad, we will:

  • push ourselves to improve our skills as individuals and as a team
  • challenge each other in positive ways
  • set goals and celebrate successes – big and small!
  • work hard and have fun!

Our Season

Our Competitive Squad season starts in early November 2017 and we’re looking for new women to join the team! We are looking for players who will commit to:

  • Train together as a squad twice a week on Monday nights (confirmed) and Wednesday nights (TBC – haven’t confirmed fields yet, may change to Thursdays) — (Note: On Mondays, we’ll have both a squad training session and a game in the Auckland Ultimate Women’s Competitive Summer League)
  • Participate in 1-2 ‘training camp’ weekends (Tentative dates: Nov 4/5, 2017 and Jan 20/21, 2018)
  • Compete as a team at NZ Series Events, NZ Nationals, and potentially Australian Div II Nationals (dependent on interest & availability)

Interested? We hope so! Fill out our Expression of Interest (EOI) form and then come to our trials on either Oct 01 or Oct 29 (or both! 😀 )  Trials are a great way to meet the club and see what we’re like!
